Romy Jamous Architects
The studio

A private practice of
architecture & interior.

Studio
Vision

To design homes that outlive fashion.

We are not interested in trends. We are interested in rooms that will still feel right in forty years.

Mission

Craft, precision, quiet luxury.

Every joinery detail, every stone edge, every brass fitting is drawn by us and specified by us.

Philosophy

The home is a private landscape.

We design for a way of living — light, silence, the ritual of coming home, the ceremony of a table.

Founder
Founder

Romy Jamous

Romy trained between Beirut and Paris, apprenticing under some of the finest residential architects of her generation before opening the studio in 2011.

Her work has been quietly published in AD, Wallpaper* and Openhouse, but the studio remains resolutely private — most of its projects are never photographed.

“Architecture is not a style. It is the honest arrangement of light, of stone, of the way a family lives.”

Values

Five things
we refuse.

01

The imitation of any material by another.

02

The photograph as the goal of a project.

03

More clients than the studio can hold in one conversation.

04

Detail drawings we did not draw ourselves.

05

Sites we cannot walk in person.
